Swallows want to keep the young midfielder as one of the under-23 players in the team, as part of the new plan for the team as they prepare for new life in the second tier.

A source at Moroka Swallows told Sport24 that the management know that they will lose many players, and that's why they want to keep Cele.

"The NFD has the under-23 rule, and that's why they want to keep Cele,” the source said.

“They are already talking to Chiefs to keep the youngster.

“He is a talented youngster with a great future, and that's why they want to keep him.”
