Carelse still on club lookout

Cape Town – Former Ajax Cape Town midfielder, Brent Carelse is still on the lookout for a club and wants to return to the PSL.

According to Soccer Laduma, Carelse is itching a return to the PSL to revive his career but no offers for the former Chippa United player have been tabled.

His agent, Mike Makaab, claims that there has been interest for the Carelse’s services but they are not panicking as they are looking for a club that will suit the family man.

“We’re working on getting something for Brent and we need to carefully look at our options. He’s a free agent and we’re not panicking,” said Makaab.

“Brent is a family man, experienced and we must get a good club and a deal that will suit him. There’s been interest for him but sometimes these things take long but we have to wait.”

Carelse also played for Mamelodi Sundowns as well as SuperSport United.

Do you think Brent Carelse still has what it takes to play in the PSL?
