Cardoso finally completes move

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have finally unveiled Daniel Cardoso as a Glamour Boy after joining from from Free State Stars.

Cardoso had previously confirmed that he had agreed a move to join the league champions but had until Tuesday delayed official confirmation of the move.

The Free State Stars defender was one of eight players unveiled at a press conference at the Kaizer Chiefs village.

"It's a great feeling joining a team like Chiefs." Cardoso told reporters.

The 26-year-old centre back wear the number 4 jersey this season and will look to fill the void left by outgoing skipper Tefu Mashamaite but will face competition from fellow new signing Siyanda Xulu, who joined the club from FC Rostov.

Cardoso is aware of the tough task that lies ahead for him after joining the 2014/15 PSL champions.

"It will be difficult. Kaizer Chiefs had the best defence last season. It's big shoes to fill." said Cardoso.
