Cape Town - Stuart Baxter reveals that he would have to make a decision between Tefu Mashamaite and Itumeleng Khune to captain Kaizer Chiefs.
Khune has been slowly making progress after returning from injury last year and has to deal with Brilliant Khuzwayo and Reyaad Pieterse to find a place in the starting XI.
According to KickOff, Baxter admits that despite the decision he is confident that it would be an easy transition when he makes a final decision.
“We have to make a decision based on who is playing and who is not. Obviously, you can’t have two captains. If they are both in the line-up we have to make a decision,” Baxter said.
“I don’t see it being a massive problem. If Itu can get himself back in the starting line, I’m sure people view him as being the club captain.
“Masha has done really, really well so one of those two will be the captain,” he adds.
