Chippa suffered saw their winless run in the league extended to 12 matches after a 3-0 loss away to Mamelodi Sundowns last month.
The Eastern Cape side has claimed 18 points from 12 home matches this season.
Their next three league opponents are Bloemfontein Celtic (home), Free State Stars and Black Aces (both away).
The Chilli Boys are placed 13th on the Absa Premiership log with 25 points from 24 matches.
Swallows suffered a sixth defeat from their last seven league matches when they were beaten 3-0 at home by Kaizer Chiefs last month.
The Soweto side has claimed 11 points from as many away matches this season.
Their next three league opponents are SuperSport United, University of Pretoria (both away) and Maritzburg United (home).
The Birds are placed 15th on the Absa Premiership log with 22 points from 24 matches.
In head-to-head stats, Chippa and Swallows have met in three league matches since 2012/13.
The Chilli Boys have an unbeaten record in the sequence, with two wins and one draw.
Chippa’s only previous home match against Swallows was a 2-1 win in the second half of the 2012/13 season.
When the teams met earlier this season, the Chilli Boys claimed a 2-0 away win in Soweto.
