The Bucaneers welcomed Mpumalanga Black Aces at the Rand Stadium, for a practice match in preparations for their PSL match against the side from Pretoria.

Lucky Lekgwathi played a full match and revealed that the team’s preparations for Sunday’s game “has been exciting.”

“The match was good for us,” said the Buccaneers captain to their official website.

“We played a good team and even some of the guys who have not had the chance to play a competitive match, were out on the field pushing hard.

“We lost to SuperSport in the Telkom Knock Out Cup, but now we have a chance to redeem ourselves by going to them and claim maximum points.

“The sad times we went through are now behind us and we are now looking to start winning matches again.”

Bucs defeated Aces 3-2.

The team is set to travel to Polokwane on Saturday afternoon, for their meeting with SuperSport United at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday, November 23.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
