The Buccaneers smashed the South African record books on Saturday, with their come-from-behind 4-2 victory over Golden Arrows earning the Soweto giants the league title, as well as an unprecedented second successive treble.
Speaking after the match, Segolela told his club's official website: "This is a remarkable feeling, I don't believe this is happening. Six titles in one year is something I will cherish for the rest of my life.
"I would like to thank the supporters for coming in their numbers, they were the difference between us winning and losing (on Saturday)."
Meanwhile, Segolela's team-mate Oupa Manyisa was also brimming with pride, adding: "What a wonderful feeling. The league is the highest honour in a season and we have been able to achieve it twice in two years.
"Let this spirit and commitment shown this season continue well into the new season."
Pirates add the PSL title to their already bulging trophy cabinet, following their MTN8 and Telkom Knockout triumphs earlier this season.
