Boxall: I have to work hard

Cape Town - New Zealand international defender Michael Boxall scored on his debut for SuperSport United when beat Orlando Pirates 1-0.

The defender said that it was good to score on his debut but that he has to work hard to be a top player in South Africa.

Boxall played his first PSL game in his natural right back position, after earlier featuring for the club at centre-back.

"I have seen that South African players are very good," Boxall said.

"We had a good game against Pirates and I was happy to score.

"But I have to work hard to be part of the team and live up to the standard of the game in the country.

"The game here is fast and I have to cope up with the standard."
