Boxall: I am ready for the challenge

Cape Town - SuperSport United defender Michael Boxall admits that although he is new to South African football he is ready for the challenge ahead. 

Speaking to Sport24 just a after his unveiling on Wednesday in Johannesburg, the 26-year-old said that his countryman Jeromy Brockie played a big role in him coming to South Africa.

"I am happy to be here, it's a new challenge for me," said the New Zealand international.

"I have never played in the South African league, though I played against Bafana Bafana, but I can see that the players are skilled and fast. 

"I am ready for the challenge and want to help the team achieve things this coming season. 

"I am happy to be here."

SuperSport begin their season with a trip to Bidvest Wits on August 4 for a place in the MTN8 semi-finals.
