Boxall: Furman will add composure

Cape Town - SuperSport United defender Michael Boxall said that he is looking forward to playing alongside new signing Dean Furman.

Boxall told Sport24 that the former  will add a lot of composure to the midfield as the season progresses and that it will make the SuperSport team to be reckoned with.

“I think he is definitely going to add a lot of composure to the midfield and from what I have seen he has got good control of the ball,” the New Zealander said.

“I think anyone that comes into the team adds something to it. I am glad that Dean is part of us as you know he could have gone anywhere.

“Every one of the guys in the team has something to offer so I think with Brockie, Bongani, Dean and the rest we will be a team to be reckoned with this season.

“I really like Dean, he has a great personality and I see what he portrays out there and he will definitely get along with the rest of the team.

“Dean and I had a really good chat at the press conference and I’m looking forward to what he will bring onto the field.

“I am really excited for this season."

SuperSport will face Mpumalanga Black Aces on Saturday, August 22 in a Absa Premiership encounter at the Mbombela Stadium.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
