The current league pacesetters have offered the former Bafana Bafana defender a one-year contract extension on his current deal which ends in June 2011.
Booth confirmed to the Siya crew that he has finalised discussions with the team and he is just waiting for an official letter from the club now.
"It is true they have offered me a one-year contract and all that remains from them is the confirmation letter which I should get before the end of December. But, otherwise we have agreed on all the other terms and I would be happy to continue playing for Sundowns. It is my second home and am very happy to be at the team," the former Cape Town Spurs defender said.
Team communication and media manager Alex Shakoane also confirmed that Booth will be at the team a bit longer.
"He is our player and we have the right and privilege to keep him. We have exercised that right and he will still be with us," Shakoane concluded.
