Cape Town - Santos coach Boebie Solomons launched a blistering tirade at the match officials after seeing his side lose 3-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns - then slammed the Brazilians for being "lucky".
The People's Team fought back from being 2-0 down inside 20 minutes with a goal from Tony Tsabedze and had good chances to equalise before Richard Henyekane's late effort clinched it for the hosts.
But while Solomons was happy with his side's attempted fightback, the Santos boss had some harsh words for the opposition.
"There's nothing in this Sundowns team. They were lucky and didn't out-play us at all," he said
"But it can be difficult to play away from home when everyone is against you. Every 50/50 ball went to them and they seem to have a field day when any Cape Town sides come here.
"We still showed a lot of character to come back and I'm happy with the way we fought."
The result leaves Santos in fifth spot in the standings, although they are now a mammoth 12 points behind leaders Orlando Pirates.
However, Solomons is still confident that his team will have a say in the destination of the PSL title and is hopeful of at least matching last season's fourth-place finish.
He said: "There's still a lot of points available so we're not going to give up. We should have won last week and could easily have got something from today but I know we have the quality to match anyone in this league."
