Boa Morte back in the fray

Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates will soon have the services of Luis Boa Morte available to them after the former Arsenal, Fulham and West Ham midfielder returned to training following a foot injury.

The 34-year-old played just three times for the Bucs since joining the club in January on an 18th month deal.

Boa Morte injured himself in training shortly after signing and up until Thursday, had been working with fitness trainer Japhet Borges.

Boa Morte told the club's official website: "Initially I thought I would be out for longer but surprisingly enough I have recovered ahead of time.

"Now I will need to work quite a lot in the gym and on the field so that I can be fit for our next matches.

"I am able to take shots without feeling any pain and everything seems to be okay."
