According to KickOff, Igesund has been impressed with the Dube Birds flyer start to the season and hopes their former boss hopes their reign continues.

“It is still early but what will be important for them now is to maintain this kind of form so that they pile up the pressure on the other teams,” said Igesund.

“They must continue winning as many matches as they can during this early period.”

“I am sure the victories have also boosted the confidence of the players and the coach which is something that is positive.”

Meanwhile, Swallows are preparing for the visit of wounded PSL champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday,August 20.

Match is scheduled for kick-off at 19:30.
