Bester going for Downs kill

Johannesburg - Rudolf Bester says Orlando Pirates are going "for the kill" in Saturday's crunch clash with title rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Glamour duo will collide at Orlando Stadium, with Bester - a recent signing from Maritzburg United - relishing the showdown.

"We are going into this match to win, and nothing less," he told his club's official website.

"The approach that we will apply might not be too different from the other games. However, one thing for sure is that we are aiming for the kill from the word go and try to unsettle them as Sundowns are a quality side.

"We know given the freedom and space to breathe, they are dangerous."

He added: "Personally, I am very motivated after coming off the bench in the last two matches. I can feel that I am getting there as far as my match fitness is concerned, and hence I am eager to use the remaining two days of our preparations to push harder at training and hopefully force my way into the starting line-up against Sundowns.

"Nonetheless, if I don't start, it won't be a big deal as I know that the competition in the team is very high, hence I am waiting patiently for my chance, which I can see it's coming closer and closer by a minute."
