Pirates coach Julio Cesar Leal has finalised his team that is scheduled
to leave for Polokwane this afternoon (Thursday), and has included the
former Bafana Bafana international in the travelling squad.
McCarthy's inclusion will put to rest the doubts that have been raised
by some critics who were questioning his fitness. Another player that
has also been included in the team is Rooi Mahamutsa.
The central defender missed the club’s MTN8 game against Santos last
weekend due to suspension. Mahamutsa’s availability will give Leal more
defensive options against the determined Leopards side that wants to
have a good start in their first game back in the PSL.
