Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter offered his condolences to the family of a Amakhosi fan who was killed after their 2-0 victory over Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

After the match a large section of the supporters stormed the pitch and during an incident with the police, a Chiefs fan was killed.

“Our condolences from the entire Kaizer Chiefs Family to the family of the deceased,” said Baxter on the club's website.

First-half goals from Mandla Masango and Willard Katsande sealed all three points and a 21st win for Stuart Baxter's men - a new PSL record.

The opening goal arrived on the 25th minute when Masangi shrugged clear of his marker before heading home from Bernard Parker's inviting cross.

Chiefs doubled their lead ten minutes later as Masango turned provider, teeing up Katsande, whose volleyed effort rifled into the back of the net.
