Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter says he is considering bringing in two new faces as he looks to level out his "unbalanced squad".
The Premier Soccer League clubs who will be involved in continental competitions this season, including Amakhosi, are set to be awarded 'special dispensation' in regards to transfers, meaning they will be allowed to sign players one month before the opening of the January window in order to submit their squads to CAF prior to the proposed December 15 cut-off date.
And Baxter has now confirmed his intentions to strengthen key areas, saying: "In terms of targets, we’ve got quite a big squad which is an unbalanced squad.
"There are a lot of players that probably are going to be too young to be featuring for a good while and there are a few players also that play in the same positions, so it is a bit of an unbalanced squad.
"So we are looking to rectify that, maybe bring in one, possibly two [players], that gives us a few options and maybe one that has got the experience to go with us into Africa. [Africa] is a different challenge and it can be a very, very difficult place if you are young and inexperienced."
Meanwhile Amakhosi will face the inform Polokwane City on Tuesday, November 25 in the Absa Premiership.
Sport24 will have LIVE scoring and interactive commentary of the PSL encounter which is being played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
