Baxter praises 'sharp' Musona

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs coach, Stuart Baxter has praised Knowledge Musona and Tsepo Masilela following the team's win against Maritzburg United at the weekend.

According to the Soccer-Laduma website, Chiefs returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over the Team of Choice, with goals from Musona and George Lebese both scored in the second half, claiming their first league victory over Maritzburg United since the 2010/11 season.

Baxter, speaking to the club’s official website, said, "I thought we started the game well and played with high intensity. We played good football in the first 30-35 minutes of the game. I think the players did very well.

“We then moved our foot off the peddle a little bit after the goal allowing Maritzburg to come at us. We continued playing good football in the second half with George Lebese getting a second goal. I thought we did well overall and playing at home, it was important to bounce back."
