Sport24 revealed this weekend that unconfirmed reports indicate that Stuart Baxter has quit the Naturena.
Should Baxter's departure be confirmed, the coach's time at the Glamour Boys will be remembered fondly by fans after the side, under his guidance, delivered two league titles, the Nedbank Cup and MTN8 trophies.
Kaizer Chiefs are due to hold a press conference on Tuesday, June 2 to address several player, and now management, contractual issues.
The Englishman's future at Naturena has been the subject of intense speculation since the end of the season, which saw the tactician oversee a Premiership and MTN8 double.
Baxter himself had earlier revealed there are "serious issues" at Chiefs he is unhappy with.
Genclerbirligi, from the Turkish Super Lig, are linked with an interest in Baxter’s service, according to Soccer Laduma.
It has also been reported that clubs in the United Kingdom want to offer the 61-year-old a deal.
