Bad weather saw the original tie abandoned 34 minutes in at the same venue this past Saturday.
Amakhosi, who will top the standings should they win in midweek, were leading 3-2.
"We would have loved to continue playing after the storm but then it was difficult to do so as the hail could not be removed without removing the lanes," Baxter told his club's website.
"It is difficult when a game is postponed and rescheduled, it changes our entire program but as professionals we will have to prepare now for Wednesday.
"Leopards were always going to be tougher and they will not be different come Wednesday as for us we need to go out and finish the business.
"The players are obviously disappointed that the game was postponed but it was due to a natural cause. I am confident that they will show the same intent on the pitch come Wednesday."
Baxter added that he has yet to decide whether Siphiwe Tshabalala and Eric Mathoho will feature against Lidoda Duvha. Tshabalala is nursing a knock from international duty with Bafana Bafana, while Mathoho attended his uncle's funeral over the weekend.
