'Basic errors' laments De Sa

Cape Town – Roger de Sa admits that his Ajax Cape Town side were making too many "basic errors" as Bidvest Wits brushed them aside in their PSL encounter.

According to KickOff, De Sa reveals that he gave some of the younger players a chance to prove themselves on an evening Wits looked too dominant.

"We committed a lot of basic errors on the night and we also gave some of the youngsters a chance tonight and they tried their best," De Sa said.

"But basic errors were too many. We definitely have to improve on that going into the next game."

Sibusiso Vilakazi sent the Urban Warriors back to the Mother City with nothing to show as the Wits captain inspired his side with a hat-trick as the exciting game ended 4-2.

Ajax now find themselves dropping more points and are now placed in fourth position with 23 points.

De Sa and his charges will look to return to winning ways in the Absa Premiership when they travel to Soweto to face Orlando Pirates.

Kick-off is at 20:15 on Saturday, December 13.
