Bad option to fire Rosslee now

Durban - AmaZulu left-back Marc van Heerden has backed coach Craig Rosslee to turn things around despite speculation about his position at the club.

According to KickOff, Van Heerden believes that Usuthu’s have no “luck” factor in games they have participated in so far.

"We just need that little bit of luck and once that comes, everything will fall into place.”

“We have not played badly. If you have watched our games, we have played good football and it is just the luck that is not there for us."

The left-back also states that sacking Rosslee would be a huge blow for AmaZulu as the players respect and enjoy the 44-year-olds football philosophy.

“To fire the coach now it would probably be not the best thing for the club and like I said he is a very good coach. Players respect him and we all enjoy working with him.”

Usuthu face Celtic on Saturday, October 4 at the Princess Magogo Stadium in the Telkom Knockout.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
