Cape Town - AmaZulu are expected to be boosted by the return of midfielder John Arwuah when the Premiership resumes next week, with the Ghanaian back in training after injury.
The experienced campaigner has missed Usuthu’s last two matches after picking up an injury against Free State Stars in October.
The current international break is affording Arwuah extra time to recover, and he should be in line to face Platinum Stars on November 22.
"I’m getting there step by step, at least now I’m now on a light training program and getting feedback from the team doctor," Arwuah told the club's official website.
"Things are looking fine so far and I’m hopeful that I could be ready in the next two weeks.
"I can’t wait to get back you know, I’d like to help and contribute to the guys to escape the relegation zone we find ourselves in.
"I’m looking forward to playing once again and I believe we will improve our performance and things return to normal."
AmaZulu are currently languishing at the bottom of the league table, having secured just four points from their first ten fixtures.
