Cape Town – Golden Arrows have confirmed the signing of Ryan Chapman from Bidvest Wits on a season-long loan.
The KwaZulu-Natal club released a statement saying that the player is already training with the team in Durban ahead of their PSL opener against the University of Pretoria.
“Abafana Bes’thende have signed forward, Ryan Chapman on a loan agreement from Bidvest Wits. The player is already in Durban with the team.
“The striker began his football career in the Vaal, representing a number of teams including Boksburg FC and Banaero 74. He also represented Orlando Pirates in his youth career and moved into his senior career with a move to Engen Santos.
“Chapman was then signed by Bidvest Wits in 2010 and was a regular player for the team for 4 seasons. He was loaned out in the 2014/2015 season to SuperSport United and has now come to Lamontville Golden Arrows.
“Chapman has represented South Africa and is a seasoned and experienced player who will add depth to the Lamontville outfit.”
