Arrows land Hendricks on a free

Cape Town - Out of contract defender Omar Hendricks has agreed terms with Golden Arrows and will join the side ahead of the new 2014/15 season.

Soccer Laduma are reporting that Omar Hendricks, who was released by Mpumalanga Black Aces, has been snapped up by Arrows after doing enough to impress the team's management that he was worth taking on board.

Mpumalanga Black Aces deemed Hendricks to be surplus to requirements after they allowed the player's contract to expire.

Hendricks will bring experience to his new club and will hope to shore up their leaky defence.

Hendricks will join his new club as they strive to regain their PSL status which they lost at the end of last season.
