Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs have completed the signing of Bafana Bafana defender Tsepo Masilela on a two-year deal from Maccabi Haifa.
The full-back has been honing his skills in Israel following his season-long loan stay with Spanish Primera Liga outfit Getafe last season, but has been on Amakhosi's radar for some time.
The left-back's arrival at Naturena comes at a good time for Chiefs, who recently lost defender Morgan Gould to an Achilles tendon injury that has ruled the centre-back out for up to six months.
"It is a great feeling to join Kaizer Chiefs. Everybody knows that this is a big team and I am excited to become part of the club," Masilela told the club's official website.
"I cannot wait to get started and work with the technical team and my team-mates. I am more familiar with the guys, especially Bernard Parker, whom I played with at Benoni Premier United (Thanda Royal Zulu) and most of the guys I play with in the national team."
