AmaZulu will bounce back

Cape Town - AmaZulu team manager, Japhet Zwane, is confident the club will bounce back and win promotion back to top football after the club managed to retain some of their key players.

Usuthu have announced through their website that captain Robyn Johannes, goalkeeper Energy Murambadoro along with forward Ayanda Dlamini are among players staying with the team.

"We have quality experienced players in our side," said Zwane.

"The challenge in the NFD is that of the rule to have five Under 23 players in the squad, but we will be assessing young players and will take those that are they will exceptional.

"We are also happy that most players are not leaving.

"We have been working a lot on player conditioning and fitness. The club has also played friendly matches and that should help in our preparations for the new season."

The club has also expressed its intention to keep left-back, Marc Van Herdeen, despite reports that a number of PSL clubs want to lure the player from Usuthu.
