AmaZulu seek second PSL win

Cape Town - AmaZulu will look for their second Absa Premiership win they host Black Aces at Princess Magogo Stadium.

AmaZulu finally ended their drought in the league, claiming their first win of the season by defeating University of Pretoria 2-1 in midweek.

The Durban side has claimed four points from five home matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Maritzburg United, Ajax Cape Town (both away) and Moroka Swallows (home).

Usuthu are placed 16th on the Absa Premiership log with seven points from 12 matches.

Aces saw their winless run extended to four games when they were held to a 2-2 draw at Chippa United in midweek.

The Mpumalanga side has claimed 10 points from six away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Free State Stars, Bloemfontein Celtic (both home) and Kaizer Chiefs (away).

AmaZayoni are placed eighth on the Absa Premiership log with 17 points from 13 matches.

In head-to-head stats, AmaZulu and Aces have met in 31 league matches since 1985.

Both sides have claimed 12 wins in the rivalry, while seven matches have ended all-square.

AmaZulu have won eight of their 16 home matches against Aces down the years, suffering three defeats in the process.

Last season AmaZayoni completed a league ‘double’ over Usuthu, winning 2-1 away and 2-0 at home.

Kick-off is at 18:00 on Saturday, December 6.
