Cape Town - AmaZulu have brought in Zambian midfielder Allan Mukuka on a season-long deal from Green Buffaloes.
The two parties have finally agreed on terms and right winger Mukuka is expected to leave for South Africa.
Mukuka has been linked with a move to the recently relegated Durban-based club for the past few months, however the two clubs couldn’t agree on an out-right transfer fee.
Mukuka shone for Zambia at the recent COSAFA Cup held in Rustenburg spent some time with Usuthu on a trial basis after the competition.
Buffaloes chairman Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Siame was quoted by The Post in Zambia saying it was a done deal.
'We are going to hold a press conference at Suwilanji Gardens where we are going to announce the release of that player,” Siame was quoted as saying.
"We have sealed the deal, he is leaving on Sunday.
"They increased the amount themselves; it’s gone to something else which is okay for us. Even the conditions are okay for us.
"We just had a telephone conversation between their executive and ours.
"The window is closing on Monday in South Africa at 17:00 hours, that’s why he is leaving on Sunday.
"This the reason they panicked, but we said since you have come with good things, that’s okay.”
