Al Ahly ready to hand Pirates a defeat

Cape Town - Al Ahly coach Fathi Mabrouk is adamant his side won’t repeat the same mistakes against Orlando Pirates from the first-leg.

According to CAF website, Mabrouk believes that he side did not deserve to be on the losing end last weekend when the Buccaneers defeated the Egyptian giants 1-0 at Orlando Stadium.

“We will do our best to turn the score and guarantee our place in the final,” said Mabrouk.

“Orlando Pirates is a strong team. In the first leg, we made a defensive mistake and they made good use of it.

“We didn’t deserve to lose as we missed a number of scoring chances.”

“Hopefully, we won’t repeat that on Sunday.”

Kick-off is at 20:30 on Sunday, October 4.
