Ajax to shop at Sundowns?

Cape Town – Reports surfacing suggest that Ajax Cape Town are keen to lure Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Percy Tau, to Ikamva.

According to Soccer Laduma, Pitso Mosimane promoted the 20-year-old into the first team last season and had a few glittering performances for The Brazilians.

Sport24 reported, that Roger de Sa has hinted that the Urban Warriors would head into the January transfer market in order to bolster up their strike force and midfield.

“We’ve looked at some midfielders, strikers and wingers who fit the requirements. We also need to look at who we can afford,” said De Sa.

Tau has been seen much less first team game time this season around and reports suggest Ajax are sniffing around Chloorkop and keeping tabs on the midfielder’s situation.

Meanwhile, Ajax welcome Maritzburg United on Saturday, November 22 to Cape Town Stadium as the Absa Premiership resumes.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
