Cape Town - Roger De Sa reveals that his Ajax Cape Town side already know what is coming to them as they meet Polokwane City.
Ajax are gearing up for their first Absa Premiership clash of 2015, when City travel to Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday, February 11.
The two sides last met in the third game of the 2014/15 PSL season in August, whereby the Urban Warriors secured a 2-1 victory in Limpopo. Goals from Thabiso Nkoana and Tashreeq Morris saw off Polokwane City, who endured a changed in management since.
“We beat them in the first round and it’ll be good to get another three points from them,” said head coach De Sa to the clubs official website.
“This is something we haven’t done very much in the past against teams.”
Polokwane have enjoyed an impressive run, winning the Absa Premiership Q-Innovation 2 prize in December as they climbed to joint-fifth on the PSL log standings.
“We know Polokwane City are a side who loves to attack.
“They certainly aren’t scared of throwing numbers forward.
“They look almost undisciplined when they attack, but that’s just the way they attack. We’ll be up for the battle and hopefully the hard work will pay off for us.
“They’ve had some fantastic results, winning three of their last five matches. They are the type of team that will throw everything at you, so we have to be ready for that,” concluded De Sa.
