According to KickOff.com, Efstathiou has revealed that Ajax Cape Town have various options but the club has not put pen to paper on a deal just yet.

“We’re still at it.

"We have a couple of options,” revealed Efstathiou.

As the transfer window is in its last few days, Ajax could do with the influx of capital in order to inject new blood into their youthful squad.

“We’ve been extremely cautious and the reality is that we’re unlikely to do it before the close of the transfer period,” said the CEO.

Meanwhile, Ajax’s next game is at Athlone Stadium on Tuesday, August 26 against Bidvest Wits.

The match is scheduled to start at 19:30.
