According to the Ajax’s official website, from a squad of 30, an incredible 23 players have come through the Urban Warriors academy.

During pre-season with the PSL team, the gifted defender left a good impression and is set to join Roger de Sa’s squad after he completes his matric in December.

The Urban warrior has been playing in the youth academy under Maahier Davids for the past three years.

“He is very cool and calm on the ball, if he continues as he has, especially over the last two years, and keeps a level head, he will make it all the way,” says Davids.

Last May, the Mitchell’s Plain born player, joined Ajax Amsterdam for a 5 week trial period and played for the Dutch team in the prestigious Copa Amsterdam Tournament.
