Ajax CT sign young striker

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have completed the signing of Phathizwe Sacolo on a two-year deal.

Ajax's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ari Efstathiou, confirmed the news via a media statement.

The 22-year-old joined the Urban Warriors from the Swedish second division side, IFK Varnamo.

“Phathi (Sacolo) adds to our arsenal of attacking players,” Efstathiou said.

“Being comfortable on both wings and adds an element that we lacked last season. He is well travelled and has a fantastic attitude which has impressed the technical team at Ajax.”

Sacolo is set to be unveiled with the rest of the new signings at the club’s offices in Parow.
