Ajax CT offer staff new deals

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have offered two year extensions to Wilfred Mugeyi, Jan Pruijn and Max Grunewald as new head coach Maarten Stekelenburg takes up the reigns ahead of the 2011-2012 season.

Assistant coach Mugeyi was delighted to extend his stay with the Urban Warriors and approved of the appointment of Stekelenburg.

He said: "This club is now like my home I played here for three or four years and have now been assistant coach for almost four years. I am very happy that the club has shown faith in my abilities by offering me another contract.

"It's a good idea because it shows continuity as he (Stekelenburg) has been with the club's youth development. I have had a great relationship with him."
