Cape Town - Itumeleng Khune is focused on helping Kaizer Chiefs win trophies this season after the club tabled an offer for the goalkeeper.

According to Soccer Laduma, Khune will not leave Naturena as he feels that there are no greener pastures and wants to win silverware with Amakhosi.
“Given that Chiefs’ proposal only came in now, I doubt that anything will get done this week,” said Dan Lichman, Khune’s agent.
“Itu is a big player for Chiefs - he’s fit, playing games and wants to lead them to trophies this season.”
Khune’s future has stirred quite a media frenzy since last year after Chiefs and Khune’s representatives have not met to discuss the 27-year-olds future.
With only six months left on his current contract, the goalkeeper has been linked with a move to big spenders Mamelodi Sundowns and arch-rivals Orlando Pirates.
Amakhosi fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Khune is set to sign a new deal in the coming weeks as the season progresses.
