Aces seek rejuvenation

Cape Town - Chippa United will look to continue their great form in the PSL when they host Mpumalanga Black Aces at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Chippa recorded a fifth win from their last seven league matches when they beat Free State Stars 1-0 in their last outing.

The Eastern Cape side has claimed 14 points from seven home matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Polokwane City, Kaizer Chiefs and Platinum Stars (all away).

The Chilli Boys are placed fourth on the Absa Premiership log with 20 points from 12 matches.

Aces suffered a second successive defeat when they were beaten 2-1 at home by Bidvest Wits in their last outing.

The Mpumalanga club has claimed nine points from five away matches this season – they are unbeaten on the road.

Their next three league opponents are AmaZulu (away), Free State Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic (both home).

AmaZayoni are placed ninth on the PSL log with 16 points from 12 matches.

This will be the first meeting of Chippa United and Black Aces in the Absa Premiership.

Kick-off at 19:30 on Wednesday, December 3.
