Aces not overwhelmed by 'Downs win

Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Muhsin Ertugral is doing his best to manage expectations after they beat Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 in the Premiership on Tuesday.

The win put Aces top of the league after three games, two points ahead of defending champions Kaizer Chiefs, who only managed a draw on the same evening.

Ertugral was keen to stress that it was still far too early in the season and didn't want to put unnecessary pressure on his players after a solid start to the campaign.

"Obviously we don't want to put pressure on the boys," he told KickOff.

"It's a building process, there are a lot of young players also coming through.

"We are not overwhelmed, it is a fantastic situation at the moment for us and we are looking forward to the next step.

"I have to give the compliments to my players. They played very well and they were very organised."
