Aces look to the future

Johannesburg - Clive Barker continues to add to Mpumalanga Black Aces squad as they announce two new young signings.

According to Aces official website, James Bell and Darren Lurie has penned two-year contracts with the club.

“The signing of the 21-year-old Bell, who is a former Ajax Cape Town, Thanda Royal Zulu, Chippa United, FC Cape Town and Golden Arrows attacker, as well as Lurie, who has played his football in the USA and Mexico, is proof that Aces is committed unearthing and developing hot prospects for the future,” said the statement

“The two players cannot wait to fight for their places in Clive Barker’s strike force that comprises of the talented Mabhuti Khenyeza, Collins Mbesuma, Tendai Ndoro, Bhongolwethu Jayiya and Thulasizwe Mbuyane.”

Meanwhile Aces are up against SuperSport United on Wednesday, August 27 in their next Absa Premiership encounter as they continue to search for their first win.

Kick-off is scheduled for 19:30.
