Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces defender and captain Zamuxolo Ngalo says consistency will be vital for his side when resuming Premiership duty in two weeks' time.
AmaZayoni's positive start in the current PSL season has seen the side set the pace at the top of the Premiership standings with seven points in three matches.
Aces notched their first win in the season's opening clash, beating Free State Stars 1-0, followed by a 1-1 draw with SuperSport United before they stunned Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 last Wednesday.
Their next league clash will come against Orlando Pirates on September 18 at Orlando Stadium in Soweto, and Ngalo is hoping for more of the same from his team-mates.
"We have had good starts in our three opening matches so far, and that has come as a motivational factor for us," he said.
"But the season has just started and there is still a long way to go, so a consistency must be a key in our next matches to play."
The attack-minded defender scored the winner for his side against the Brazilians, earning himself the man of the match award.
"With a new coach Muhsin [Ertugral] who has instilled a winning mentality in us, every player selected in the starting eleven is eager to impress and fight for the team's cause.
"The experience of the likes of Collins Mbesuma, Vincent Kobola, Thanduyise Khuboni, Shu-Aib Walters and I, also comes in handy for some of the youngsters in the team," Ngalo said.
