Orlando to host MTN8 Cup final

Johannesburg - Moroka Swallows will enjoy a degree of home advantage when they meet SuperSport United in the final of the MTN8 on September 22.

The showpiece decider will be staged at Soweto's Orlando Stadium, with Swallows based at nearby Dobsonville Stadium.

The Premier Soccer League announced the venue on Monday.

Acting CEO, Cambridge Mokanyane, said: "We are extremely excited to announce Orlando Stadium as the venue for the MTN8. We have already seen quality football during the quarter-finals and the semi-finals of the MTN8.

"I have no doubt that this final will produce another spectacular experience for South African football fans.

"Together with our partners MTN we will pull all stops to ensure that we put together a great event that will leave lasting memories on the minds and hearts of our supporters."

Orlando Stadium hosted the event's final in 2009, with Golden Arrows thrashing Ajax Cape Town 6-0 on that occasio
