No one wants Benni?

Johannesburg - Sam Allardyce says Blackburn haven't yet received any bids for South African international striker Benni McCarthy.

The Bafana Bafana star hasn't started a game since the 2-2 draw with Sunderland on December 28, and missed Monday night's defeat at Manchester City with a back spasm.

He wants to leave Ewood Park during the January transfer window in a bid to boost his hopes of starring for his country when they host the World Cup finals this summer.

But at the moment his hopes of a quick exit look bleak, with Allardyce revealing: "We have not had one bid for him. Until such time as we get one, we cannot move."
