Kaizer Chiefs clash with Golden Arrows on the same day at the Rand Stadium, while Mamelodi Sundowns are also in action on the Saturday at home against Moroka Swallows.

Vasco Da Gama kick off their adventure in the top flight against Soweto giants Orlando Pirates at home on the Sunday of the opening weekend, while their is a Kwa-Zulu Natal derby in the shape of AmaZulu against Maritzburg United on the same day.

The first Soweto Derby of the season takes place on November 13 when Amakhosi travel to the Bucs' Orlando Stadium.
