    yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wesleywt - 2012-05-31 08:17

What? Not playing the South African football mafia? That's Chiefs and Pirates btw.

      Tankiso Mogoje - 2012-05-31 08:42

Well said Wesley,i am a Chiefs fan but i don't like how these two teams operate.Khoza is calling the wrong shots and Kaizer is just singing his praises, they need to be called to order.

      zaakiro - 2012-05-31 09:18

Rumor is that Newcastle or Spurs might be coming to play in the Vodacom Challenge (against Chiefs & Pirates)

      Shona - 2012-05-31 11:12

They played them last time they came to SA so wanted to play someone else this time

  • Kitty - 2012-05-31 08:31

I cant wait. Cape Town Stadium here i come.

  • Thabo - 2012-05-31 08:36

Sir Alex must be careful this time around.

      Jed - 2012-05-31 10:53

Why are you going to throw a Vuvuzela at him?

      Ronnie - 2012-05-31 10:54

      Be careful of what lol

      Ronnie - 2012-05-31 11:08

They wont catch the person who throws it. The person who does just has to make sure that he has his hyena tail with him

      jamesyboi78 - 2012-06-01 08:41

hahahahahaha careful of??? u cant even compare man u to our pathetic style of soccer :)

  • sbudesh1 - 2012-05-31 08:50

Predicted socre: ajax 0-10 man u

      mark.anders.3956 - 2012-05-31 09:39

Even if you are right - who cares. Watch the game and support the locals! Worst they can do is lose to the best (well, ok not the best, I'm not a massive Man U supporter but they are an excellent professional side) and learn from it. Also, this is not the first time that Man U have been out here and they don't tend to bring their full strength side. I didn't watch last time but as I understand it we weren't crushed then.

      Shona - 2012-05-31 11:34

United could have their 5th team play and still beat any of our SA sides...probably even Bafana. I will definitely be watching the game but I will be supporting Utd just cos I have never been able to enjoy SA soccer...our International side doesn't even qualify for anything

      Hugo - 2012-05-31 12:28

shona if it was not for these sa teams that you so despise you would not be able to watch your beloved utd, shame.do you also support the all blacks

      Shona - 2012-05-31 14:05

I'm not a UTD supporter but will support them over an SA team. Springboks are my team when it comes to a real sport being played...not All Blacks

  • SongzJ - 2012-05-31 08:52

They don't always bring the first team. So not interested! U only see 2 / 3 ppl from the first team when they come here!

      ralphdaudi - 2012-05-31 10:23

they don't always bring their first team for a reason - in 2008 it was because some players(e.g Ronaldo,Nani) had played in the Euros. but Rooney,Tevez,Giggs,Scholes,Carrick were there. this time it's even worse with England having qualified for the Euros.

  • pralinedavy - 2012-05-31 08:54

where can i buy my tickets???!!!!!!

  • fdalana - 2012-05-31 09:03

this is good news for our football.

      Shona - 2012-05-31 11:36

Utd have played here many times and still our soccer in this country is an embarrassment

      Hugo - 2012-05-31 12:29

embarassment to you self righteous bigot

      Hugo - 2012-05-31 12:30

if sa soccer was an embarassment, why does utd keep on coming?why dont they go to australia or china?

      Shona - 2012-05-31 14:26

U should look up what bigot means!!! Everyone is entitled to their own opinions...I don't think mine is more important than anyone else's. Utd do actually go all over the world playing which includes Asia and Australia...they even have a Korean playing in their team! SA are 67th in the Fifa World Rankings with China and Australia both higher than us. Soccer is big in SA, u'd think they would be better than they are

  • ztoefy - 2012-05-31 09:07

Can't wait to book my ticket to see Ajax kick Fergie's Ass :)

  • tony.kirby1 - 2012-05-31 09:07

Suppose SAFA will want it played at Vyggieskraal in Phillipi ot were ever it is. Just to screw alot of us from seeing the match.

      Jeremy - 2012-05-31 09:16

That is rather dismissive and rather obtuse. Ajax CT has a bigger following with the community in Vygieskraal (which is in Athlone btw) I presume.

      zaakiro - 2012-05-31 09:19

Doubt that will happen, United have always got massive crowds, an it give the City of Cape Town the opportunity to rake in the dollars at the Cape Town Stadium. Don't be so negative, especially because these games have nothing to do with SAFA or the PSL. Cheer Up....

      ztoefy - 2012-05-31 09:46

What if it is ....does that mean that it prevents you from going to the game...no it doesn't. Anyways....will most likely be at Cape Town Stadium so that the city can get some money for that white elephant.

      Arthur - 2012-05-31 10:37

Seeing that SAFA or the PSL is involved, I wonder who is paying to bring MAN U over here and who's paying for the staduim. See how tickets will cost R200.00 again.

      Ronnie - 2012-05-31 11:06

Vygieskraal in Phillipi? Just shows that you do not know what you are talking about. Why would one of the biggest teams in the world play at Vygieskraal which is not big, when everyone knows there is a huge supporter base in Cape town for Man UTD

  • ngwane.khanyile.7 - 2012-05-31 09:16

This is looking good for our country lets hope the boys will kick ass on home soil, I know thy will! Ajax CT vs man united cant wait!!!

  • hugo.bruwer.5 - 2012-05-31 09:35

Going to be awesome...does anybody now where you can get tickets??? or when can you get tickets

  • hugo.bruwer.5 - 2012-05-31 09:37

Going to be awesome... Does anybody know where you can get tickets or when you can???

  • nsele2 - 2012-05-31 09:48

Chiefs and Pirates all have beaten Man U. so they now chickening out to play those they will beat.

  • Cyrus - 2012-05-31 10:03

Wonder how many people will be supporting the local teams

      DieSpytwurm - 2012-05-31 10:21

wonder if the loss will be less than 21 - 1

      Hugo - 2012-05-31 12:32

no one cares if you dont, who do you think you are?

  • sango.jika - 2012-05-31 10:38

half of cape town will be cheering for man united we all know this.

      Ronnie - 2012-05-31 11:17

True, although it will probably be Man Uniteds 3rd side cause of the Euro's

  • claudette.knipe - 2012-05-31 11:50

Emailed Ajax Cape Town this morning to find out when tickets will go on sale. The official response was: I am sorry to say that there is no official word from Ajax nor Manchester Utd regarding this game. I guess we should all wait and see if something could come up. So a bit confused if the club is saying nothing is confirmed but News24 confirming it??

  • zimonia.maclean - 2012-05-31 12:45

    yeah baby! so xcited!!!

  • zimonia.maclean - 2012-05-31 12:45

    Yeah baby!! i'm sooooooooooooooooo excited!

  • Richard - 2012-05-31 17:04

Great!!! Thought Cape would get shafted again, you know only once did the national team play in the Cape Town stadium as far as I know, against the US a year or so ago. Unbelievable in inexplicable.....well maybe not......some people at SAFA don't seem to like the western cape....

  • Viynal - 2012-05-31 18:15

    We dnt think its posable

  • jerome.burt - 2012-05-31 20:59

What is Bob smoking!!! Whoever he supports must also be useless because United will have beaten them before, easily
