MTN8 final 'anyone's game'

Johannesburg - SuperSport United defender Nasief Morris believes the MTN8 final is anyone's game ahead of the all-Soweto showdown on Saturday.

Defending champions Orlando Pirates will tackle fierce rivals Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium with cup glory, bragging rights and an R8 million pot on the line.

And while Morris is leaning towards a Buccaneers triumph, he refuses to rule out Amakhosi.

"Pirates showed incredible form in their last game (1-1 semi-final draw with Sundowns). They've also already played a cup final (Carling Black Label Cup) with Chiefs and come out on top," he told Football365.co.za.

"But having said that it's a big derby and on the day anyone can come out on top. It should be very exciting."

Meanwhile, third-placed United are set to intensify preparations for next Wednesday's clash with PSL newcomers Black Leopards.

Morris said: "The coach will do his homework and we will be prepared.

"There has not been a big focus right now (last week). Alot of the players have been away on national duty so when they get back we will focus on that."

Matsatsantsa, recent 2-1 victors at AmaZulu, will host 11th-placed Leopards at Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium (KO: 19.30).
