Cape Town - Orlando Pirates chairperson, Dr Irvin Khoza, has wished his long-time compatriot and Kaizer Chiefs chairperson, Kaizer “Chincha Guluva” Motaung snr a very happy 70th birthday.

“We wish Kaizer Motaung a happy day and many more healthy and wealthy years ahead all filled with happiness,” said Khoza on the club’s official website.

“The timeline of this great club, Orlando Pirates, would not be complete without a significant mention of Kaizer Motaung’s contribution. His contribution was indeed era defining. He is one of the famous Class of 1968, the great Gert van der Haar, Hans Moses, Salhiel ChoCho, Dan Phakathi, Ralph Hendricks, Absalom Khoza, Bernard Hartze, Percy Moloi, Rashid Khan, Allen Chili and of course Kaizer “Chincha Guluva” Motaung.

"Their team achieved a clean sweep, winning every competition in that season.”

“Happy Birthday my dear friend, your staying power is laudable. We have been through a lot together. Of the many qualities you possess, I today want to single out one the world might not know. You are the man of your word and your word is bankable. Enjoy this, the day of your birth. It was because of this day that many more good things were born,” Khoza concluded.
