Cape Town - Bongani Zungu scored for Vitoria de Guimaraes in a 2-1 defeat to Benfica in the Taça de Portugal that saw the match-ball being delivered in a very unique way.
In what seemed like a scene from Back to the Future - the match ball was delivered to the match official via a man dressed in a futuristic military outfit - riding a hover-board.
Zungu started the final and grabbed what ended up to be a consolation goal in the 78th minute as Vitoria finished on the losing side to Cup favourites, Benfica.
The theatrics though before kick-off grabbed all the headlines as a man on a hover-board glided across the length of the pitch before delivering the ball to the referee.
Despite finishing as a runner-up, Zungu hailed his side's season as a success after securing Europa League football for the 2017/18 season.

I am really proud about the amount of effort and hard work we put in. Nothing to prove everything to improve. ???? pic.twitter.com/hfD4UVsmBz
