WATCH: Benni analyses Euro 2016 match - in Spanish!

Cape Town - Former Bafana Bafana striker and current SuperSport analyst, Benni McCarthy, went a step further in his latest TV commentary - by doing it in Spanish!

The striker, who grew up Cape Town, represented Seven Stars before the club dissolved into Ajax Cape Town.

McCarthy went on to further his career abroad with a stint in Spain for Celta Vigo where he eventually would pick up the language.

In 1999 he departed the La Liga outfit for FC Porto in Portugal, where he helped guide Jose Mourinho's side to a Champions League triumph.

Following his retirement, the 38-year-old acquired his UEFA B licence and has made several appearances on SuperSport as a football expert.

SuperSport host Robert Marawa asks the former Blackburn Rovers striker to do his analysis in Spanish after Spain crashed to a shock 2-0 defeat against Italy in their European Championships match in France this week.
